I am not a huge fan of the "Identity Death" or "Personality Death" scenario. For me it is kind of like that saying "If a tree falls in the woods and nobody is there to hear it, did it really fall?" In this case it is like "If a man becomes a woman, but he doesn't remember that he was a man, was he ever really a man?"
I am okay with the idea of him trying to say his male name, but only his female name escapes his lips. That is a sort of mental bondage, and can appeal to some fetishes, but the idea of never remembering who you were before takes away the appeal.
@Crusoe, I agree with you 99%. The tg captions I make are done in trade so I do have to take into consideration the preferences of the person I trade with and at times they like "personality death."
